Private lessons, clinics and camps with Gautam Sethi. We'll get back to you within a few hours.
USAPA-certified coach, 100+ players coached, and a 5.0 rating built entirely on word of mouth at courts across San Diego County.
Gautam came to pickleball with a competitive background in tennis, cricket, squash, and table tennis. That combination is unusual, and it shows up in how he teaches: tennis gives him the groundstroke and movement mechanics, table tennis the hand speed and touch at the kitchen line, squash the court-positioning instinct, and cricket the timing and eye for a ball coming at pace.
His professional background is analytical and medical, and his sessions are built the same way — observe first, diagnose properly, then treat the actual cause rather than the symptom. It is why players routinely say the same thing after a first lesson: he found the one thing nobody else had spotted.
Today Gautam is a USAPA-certified pickleball coach and the founder and head coach of The Dink Theory, coaching private lessons, semi-private sessions, weekly clinics, structured camps, and remote video analysis across San Diego County.
Certified through USA Pickleball, the sport's national governing body in the United States.
From players who had never held a paddle to competitive 4.0+ players preparing for tournaments.
Consistently 5-star reviewed by students across private lessons, clinics, and camps.
Competitive playing background in tennis, cricket, squash, and table tennis.
Match footage review for competitive players, plus remote video analysis for players outside San Diego.
Weekly clinics every Saturday and Sunday at The Hub Pickleball Club, Spring Valley.
Watch first, coach second. Gautam watches you play before offering a single tip. The plan comes from what he actually sees, not a template.
Find the two or three that matter. Most players have a small number of faults driving most of their lost points. Those get fixed first.
Drill it, then play it. A correction that only survives in a drill is not a correction. Every session moves into live points to prove it holds under pressure.
Written summary after every lesson. Students get a written recap of what was covered and what to practise next — the detail his reviews mention most often.
Gautam coaches the full range, and each level has its own dedicated programme:
The Hub Pickleball Club in Spring Valley is home — that is where the weekly clinics and most kids lessons run. For private and semi-private lessons, Gautam travels county-wide:
